Symbi-ARC Studio Inc is a start-up architecture firm dedicated to creating memorable designs that harmonize with their surroundings. They prioritize inclusivity for all stakeholders, enhancing spaces to foster connections and improve the overall experience of architecture. We are an architecture firm based in Carleton Place, Ontario. Symbi: We believe architecture is about time and place, its meant to besymbiotic to those things. It should not only fit in with those things, but also make them better. ARC: This is meant to symbolize thearchitecture itself, no matter the scale. Our commitment is to do our absolute best to make it memorable and make sure it fits into the whole, like the arc of a circle. Studio: This meant to represent the people, both within and outside the firm. It is meant to be inclusive of all the people who encounter our work (Project team, clients, end-user, passerby’s, etc.) Inc.: The simple answer is that it tells the world that we are incorporated. We’ve gone through all the legal requirements to make sure of that! But there is more to why we included it in our name, we wanted it to symbolize the incorporation of all of the things mentioned above into one entity. And finally, you’ll notice that our acronym isSASI.This was not by accident! It’s meant to remind us to take our work seriously, but not ourselves.
