SINCLAIR ERIE LTD.

Founded in 1876 in Southwestern Ontario Canada, Erie brand wheelbarrows are known as “Canada's wheelbarrow.” Erie wheelbarrows, with their unique features, have always been known as the leader in its industry and still boosts today to be Canada’s #1 Contractor Wheelbarrows. Other related products have carried the Erie brand, including augers, diggers, and lawn rollers, but it is the wheelbarrows that continue to anchor the product line. Manufacturing of the Erie products has changed ownership over the years. Originally it was Erie Iron Works, then later Erie Metal Products, Erie Industries, Erie Equipment, and currently Sinclair Erie. In 1994 Erie wheelbarrow production remained in Southwestern Ontario, but moved to Milverton Ontario which is an area known for its excellent craftsmanship. The Erie product is still supplied from this area today, and utilizing a select distributor-dealer network, Erie, “Canada’s wheelbarrow,” is available to the entire country.
