Sierra Metals Inc. is a Canadian mining company focused on the production, exploration, and development of precious and base metals in Peru and Mexico. The company primarily focuses on exploration of silver, copper, lead, zinc, and gold deposits. Sierra Metals owns the 82% owned polymetallic Yauricocha Mine located in the Yauyos province in Peru and the 100% owned Bolivar Mine property located in Mexico. The company was incorporated in 1996 and was formerly known as Dia Bras Exploration Inc. and changed its name to Sierra Metals Inc. in December 2012. Sierra Metals is a Copper Producer with Precious and Base Metal By-Products.
