Shakespeare Pies is a family-owned and operated bakery that has been serving the Shakespeare area for years. They offer a variety of meat, fruit, and seasonal pies, as well as tarts and local products. All pies are made from scratch using recipes developed by the owner's mother, drawing from her Mennonite heritage. They also sell gift cards and offer pickup in-store and deliveries to some stores in Waterloo. The pies are baked in-store, and they use margarine in their pastry. They are open Monday to Friday 10 am – 6 pm, and Saturdays 10 am – 5:30 pm.
