SEI Industries Ltd., established in 1978, is an industrial fabric products manufacturer, known for its invention of the Bambi Bucket used by helicopters for firefighting. Based in Delta, BC, Canada, SEI supplies over 45 unique products to over 50 military forces and various commercial enterprises, with a global agent network and repair facilities. SEI specializes in the design, manufacturing, marketing, and commissioning of engineered fabric products for aviation, remote site logistics, environmental, and firefighting industries. They also offer pumping/filtration design and manufacturing, and technical problem-solving. SEI provides service and high-quality products to oil and mineral exploration companies, helicopter aviation companies, government agencies, and military organizations in over 105 countries, along with the United Nations, humanitarian relief agencies, original equipment manufacturers, and Fortune 500 companies. TransDigm Group acquired SEI Industries in May 2024. The company is expected to generate approximately $30 million in revenue for the calendar year ending December 31, 2024.
