Roos Dairy Goats, Ltd. is one of the largest dairy goat farms in Ontario, owned and operated by Jan and Jony Roos near Brownsville, ON. The farm started in 2007 with 200 goats and has grown to over 2,000 milking goats. They also grow alfalfa and corn for feed and cash cropping. They were the recipients of the 2019 Ontario Outstanding Young Farmers award. They use a 100-stall rotary parlour and have developed an app to track goat health and operations. The family hires seasonal employees (up to 16) during kidding season, and has 2 full-time and several part-time staff. They are focused on giving their children a life on the farm and being good examples to those around them.
