(RSI), a subsidiary of Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure, is advancing its 125 MW AC solar PV project near By transforming lower-yield land into a thriving hub of solar energy and sustainable sheep grazing, Rising Sun will help redefine the future of renewable energy generation and agriculture in Alberta. The energy produced by Rising Sun will contribute to the ever-growing electricity needs of homeowners and businesses in the province, while reducing the carbon footprint on the existing power grid. The Rising Sun solar project is expected to provide power to the grid for more than 20 years while maintaining farming operations on the land upon which it is situated.
