Since its creation Petrifond has successfully completed over 2800 contracts that cover the range of deep foundation services: slurry walls and waterproof walls, caissons and marine piles, piles of all types: H, tubular, sheet piles, with enlarged base, prefabricated concrete; caissons and drilled wells, supports and repairs in works, bored piles in permafrost. PETRIFOND has focused mainly on complex and difficult foundation projects, such as: deep waterproof walls excavated in dense soils, glacial moraines with blocks, agglomerations and in hard rock – up to depths of 240 ft, inclined marine caissons with mortise without mortise, with tides of 28 ft, marine caissons 14 ft in diameter with mortises in the rock, diffusers in the St. Lawrence River up to 140 ft below water level, major projects with numerous cranes for the installation of 2000 to 6000 piles / caissons. Specialized equipment and particular expertise have thus been developed.
