Midas is one of the world's largest providers of automotive services. They offer brake repair, oil changes, tires, mufflers & exhaust and all of your auto repair needs. In 1956, Nate Sherman formed Midas as a chain of muffler-shop franchises, and within the first year the chain had 100 stores in 40 states. By the late 1980s the number of units totaled about 2,000, and Midas had manufactured more than 100 million mufflers. Midas also offers shock absorbers, brakes, and alignment services.
