McAsphalt Industries Limited, formed in 1970, is a diversified Canadian company committed to the development, production, distribution, and marketing of asphalt and bitumen products. McAsphalt is Canada's premier manufacturer and distributor of asphalt and bitumen products. Over the last 50 years, McAsphalt has successfully implemented a comprehensive Integrated Management System (ISO 9001/14001/45001). McAsphalt was formed by Leo McArthur and John Carrick. The company took its name from the “M” and “C” of its founders’ initials. McAsphalt would be incorporated as distributors, marketers and manufacturers of a wide range of asphalt emulsions and specialty products for the construction industry in the province of Ontario. The company’s first terminal was located on Sheppard Avenue East in West Hill, ON.
