I specialize in supporting First Nations, First Nation organizations (eg. Economic Development Corporations), and entrepreneurs. As a consultant, my purpose is to empower my clients to attain maximum positive impact in their organizations through innovative solutions. Examples of areas where I can provide support: • Develop, structure and restructure economic development entities, First Nations departments and service units • Strategy development • Develop business plans and liaise with tax and legal professionals to execute the creation of business entities • Develop and deliver custom capacity building workshops and retreats for First Nation Governments, departmental teams, Governing Boards, senior executives and Entrepreneurs. • Program / policy review and writing, including reporting and remedial actions plans • Financial report development • Liaise with Indigenous Services Canada, Employment and Social Development Canada, Health Canada, Statics Canada and other Federal, Provincial, Regional and National partners / funders, including proposal writing and management of agreements • Serve as temporary First Nation Band Administrator to cover short-term needs, including assisting in the recruitment of a permanent replacement where needed • Labour market research, Employment & Training programs, review and/or manage a variety of employment and service development agreements, including Indigenous Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ISETS) • Advancement of major infrastructure projects.
