Dr. Ahmed & Associates is a psychology practice in downtown Toronto of registered clinical psychologists who believe in providing a highly personalized approach, tailored to each of their client's individual needs, to help attain the goals they’re striving for. Dr. Ahmed and associates believe that each client seeks therapy with their own expectations about the therapy process and gains they are hoping to achieve after participating in sessions. In collaboration with their clients Dr. Ahmed and associates develop the ideal treatment plan that uniquely addresses their presenting concerns. Dr. Ahmed is a registered Clinical Psychologist and the director of the clinic. She has been working in a private practice setting providing psychological services to adults and couples in the Greater Toronto area, for a wide range of issues. Her primary theoretical orientation is cognitive behavioural therapy(CBT), however, she often integrates from other treatment modalities such as, client- centered therapy, schema focused therapy,motivational interviewingandmindfulness based strategiesdepending on her clients presenting concerns and preference. She aims to provide evidence-based treatment in an empathic, non-judgmental and collaborative manner to address her clients’ needs.
