Left Field Cider Co. is a family-owned business making traditional English-style cider in the heart of BC's interior. Established in 2011, the company blends English and French cider varieties with BC dessert apples. Located on Highway 97C between Merritt and Logan Lake, the ciderhouse is typically open for tastings on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the summer. They focus on a small-batch approach to traditional cider-making which brings out the natural characteristics of the apples. The Garthwaite family has been in the ranching business for three generations and their recent venture into the cider industry truly did come from straight out of nowhere. In May 2025 the ciderhouse will reopen.
