Lappe Ski Centre, located 20 minutes north of Thunder Bay, was established in 1978 by the Puiras Family and has over 14km of ski trails ranging from beginner to expert with 6km lighted for night skiing. The facility hosts international, national and provincial cross country ski competitions and is a cornerstone in the local community, promoting a healthy active lifestyle. The centre has a unique facility with a kitchen, eating area, changerooms, saunas, wax rooms, lockers, and community meeting space. The 2024-25 Ski Season is now done, but facility rentals are available.
