KP Tissue Inc. (KPT) was created to acquire, and its business is limited to holding, a limited partnership interest in Kruger Products L.P. (KPLP). Through its equity holdings in Kruger Products Inc. (the operating company), it is involved in the business of producing, distributing, marketing, and selling various disposable tissue products, including bathroom tissue, facial tissue, paper towels, and napkins for both the consumer and away-from-home markets in North America. The products are marketed under several trademarks, such as Cashmere, Purex, SpongeTowels, Esteem, White Swan, Embassy, and others. KP Tissue was to acquire an equity interest in Kruger Products Inc. KP Tissue trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol KPT.
