Kopas Developments was established in January 2015 by Don and Jeff Kopas. The Kopas family has been involved in the Canadian real estate industry for over 80 years, starting with their mortgage broking company, Kopas and Burritt Ltd. They later expanded into the purchase and improvement of retail plazas across the country. The company's goal is to extend its expertise into commercial and residential areas, with the initial focus being the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Kopas Developments collaborates with other development partners when necessary. Don retired in the spring of 2023.
