Knox Tech began racing in 2014 at local karting events in the Ottawa area. After numerous podium finishes it was evident that Henderson Knox (aka Henry) had the skills required to compete at a higher level. Knox Tech began to race throughout Quebec and Ontario and switched from 4-stoke engines to the much more powerful, and faster, 2-stroke shifter engines. This was a major progression, again, Henry was able to excel and won the championship in the Coupe de Montreal karting series in the shifter class. Knox Tech then considered international events and completed in the ROK The Rio event at Las Vegas where he raced against world class F1 drivers including names like Fittipaldi and Barrichello. In 2021 Knox Tech decided it was time to see if Henry could compete in car racing. We acquired an older but capable open wheel race car – 1994 Van Diemen. In his first year Henry was able to win the F1600 Canada series (Pro-Am B Class). In 2022 Henry had a podium finish in each F1600 Canada event he has attended, including the Montreal Grand Prix. In 2023 he finished second in the F1600 Canada series in his first year in Pro (A Class). Later in the year, he also achieved his first podium in the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship in A Class at Knox Tech's home tack at Calabogie Motorsports Park.
