KAY MELBYE LAW CORPORATION

Kay Melbye is a Partner at Brown Henderson Melbye, a law firm in Victoria, BC. She specializes in family law, having restricted her practice to this area since 2002. She prefers to resolve matters outside of court but has extensive litigation experience. She is qualified as a Family Law Arbitrator, Mediator, Collaborative Lawyer, Parenting Coordinator, and to prepare Hear the Child Reports. She is a founding member of the Victoria Collaborative Law Group. She is past President of the Victoria Bar Association and actively involved in the community, mentoring young lawyers. She is also past chair of the Bridges for Women Society and is currently Secretary on the Board of the BC Hear the Child Society and Treasurer on the Board of the Vancouver Island Children’s Health Foundation.
