JOYCE DIRECT IRON INC.

JOYCE DIRECT IRON INC. is proposing the construction, operation and decommissioning of an open-pit iron ore mine located in Newfoundland and Labrador, approximately 20 kilometres northeast of Schefferville, Quebec. The mine would produce up to an estimated 2.5 million tons of ore per year over a life span of seven years. The project consists of an open pit mine, dewatering of Joyce Lake, crushing and screening of ore (dry processing), waste rock disposal, support infrastructure, access and haulage roads, a causeway, and a rail loop to connect with an existing railway. The Joyce Lake DSO Iron Ore Project is Century’s most advanced project. The Joyce Lake Property consists of six mineral licences located in Newfoundland and Labrador, 100% owned by Joyce Direct Iron Inc. (which is 89.8% owned by Century). The Joyce Lake project is located on a peninsula in Attikamagen Lake directly across Iron Arm Inlet from the exploration camp which is accessible by gravel road from Schefferville.
