Island Enterprises Incorporated (IEI) is dedicated to the development, acquisition, and/or attraction of economic ventures that will enable the Squaxin Island Tribe to realize its dream of self-sufficiency and self-governance. Island Enterprises, Inc. is the economic development arm of the Squaxin Island Tribe. They focus on diversifying the tribal economy beyond gaming by supporting and creating new businesses that provide job opportunities for tribal members. IEI's mission includes operating existing businesses, developing or acquiring new businesses to achieve positive cash flows and reduce reliance on gaming, assisting tribal members with business planning, and helping other tribally-owned businesses succeed.
