IRON CAT INC.

Iron Cat Ltd. was an architectural firm and interior design atelier founded in 1933 by five graduates of McGill's School of Architecture. The firm, originally operating as a partnership, later became Woollven and Devitt, and eventually Woollven and (Peter) Woollven. Based in Quebec, it specialized in architectural and interior design for projects like Kingsmere, Centre Block, and private residences. They produced architectural plans and drawings, along with designing wrought iron fixtures and furniture. The firm also had an office at 2037 Victoria Street (now 2020 University Street for 1933 to 1964), and later moved to 1225 Green Avenue, with a forge and woodworking atelier. The company's records, including drawings and business records, are preserved in archives. Ironcat is also a brand of safety products from PIP Canada, the ultimate authority in protective gear for welders offering durable PPE that’s tailored to the different types of welding.
