Hip Interactive Corp. was a Canadian company that provided electronic entertainment products, including PC and video games, movies, video arcade games, and proprietary games branded as Hip Games, and accessories, branded as Hip Gear. The company was founded on December 12, 1995, and incorporated on July 13, 1999. The company had distribution facilities in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Hip Interactive also operated through the European subsidiary Hip Interactive Europe based in Marseilles, France. The company filed for bankruptcy on July 11, 2005, and was placed in receivership.
