HALTON RECYCLING LTD.

Halton Recycling Ltd. (HRL) was established in Ontario in the 1990s as an offshoot of International Paper Industries (IPI). In 2008, HRL, along with other waste management companies, was brought together under the new name, Emterra Environmental. Halton Recycling Ltd. operates as Emterra Environmental. Emterra Environmental offers waste management services, and the company has been granted Environmental Compliance Approvals by the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. In 2021, Halton Recycling Ltd., operating as Emterra Environmental, received an amended Environmental Compliance Approval for layout improvements at 1122 Pioneer Road in Burlington, Ontario. In the early days of just one employee, to an international enterprise of more than 1,100 employees, 40 locations and five distinct divisions, we are dedicated to our people and to providing the very best service to our customers and the communities that we work with.
