Established in 1979, GMR Electric Motors Ltd is the premier supplier of electric motor sales and service to Western Canada. We provide sales and service to mining, oil & gas, forestry, power generation, and other industrial users of electric motors. GMR’s 80,000 square foot facility is the best equipped shop in Western Canada and boasts several industry firsts, including our large dynamometer testing capability and state of the art test center for motors and gearboxes. GMR Electric is proud to be the first shop in Canada to earn the SKF Certified Rebuilder-Electric Motors certification and we were the first to become EASA Accredited. We are also a certified ISO 9001:2015 shop along with our CSA certification. These different certifications prove our commitment to be an industry leader. Along with our quality designations, we are also proud to be COR certified for safety and a signatory to the Mission Zero Health and Leadership Charter for Saskatchewan to demonstrate our commitment to the safety of our workers and customers.
