DR. BARBARA KANE INC.

Dr. Barbara Kane is a psychiatrist in Prince George, British Columbia. She is the Medical Lead for the Northern Health Mental Health Program, a position she has held since 2018. She is a Consulting Psychiatrist at UHNBC. Dr. Kane obtained her Medical Degree at the University of Western Ontario and has a Fellowship in Psychiatry. She has served as Department Head of Psychiatry at UHNBC. She also is a representative for the BC Psychiatric Association Northern Region and an Examiner for Psychiatry at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the UBC Department of Psychiatry since 2006. Dr. Kane's practice is in general adult psychiatry, with a focus on serious and persistent mental illness and addictions.
