Cole’s Metal Fabricating Limited was founded in 1980 by Doug Cole, who recognized a need in the manufacturing community for a specialized fabricator of machine guarding. The business has since grown to cover a wide range of fabrication and CNC machining operations. Doug and his wife Dianne ran the business out of a rented space on Pillette Road until 1997, at which point they moved to their current location, not far from the Windsor VIA Rail Terminal. Since its inception, Cole’s Metal Fabricating Limited has been a family run business. Doug’s two sons, Jeff and Steven now oversee operations at the facility. Steven is the shop floor manager, and Jeff handles customer relations and plant productivity. Jeff’s wife, Margo and Steven’s wife, Kathleen oversee the administrative duties. Together with their valued employees, the Cole family strives to provide quality products with efficiency. Cole’s Metal Fabricating Limited takes pride in its long-standing reputation as a trusted member of Windsor’s manufacturing community for over 40 years. Full fabricating capabilities; Small and large details up to 10,000 lbs. (jobs of all sizes accepted). Welding - Steel, aluminum and stainless steel - MIG, TIG, stick and spot welding. Cutting - Shear to 3/8″ thick - Plasma cut to 5/8″ thick - Waterjet most materials to 6″ thick. CNC Machining - 3 CNC Machines - 60″ x 30″ travel.
