BLACKBIRD INFRASTRUCTURE 407 CRH GP INC.

Blackbird Infrastructure 407 GP is a consortium selected by Infrastructure Ontario to design, build, finance, and maintain the Highway 407 East Phase 2 project. The project extends Highway 407 approximately 22 kilometers from Harmony Road in Oshawa to Highway 35/115 in Clarington, and connects Highways 401 and 407 with Highway 418. Blackbird Infrastructure is a partnership between CRH Canada Group Inc. and Cintra Infraestructuras. This project is proceeding under Infrastructure Ontario’s Design, Build Finance and Maintain model, and will cost approximately $1.2 billion. Dufferin Construction Company, a division of CRH Canada Group Inc., is a part of Blackbird Infrastructure. The project will extend Highway 407 approximately 22 kilometers; connect it to Highway 401 - the country's busiest highway - via a 10-kilometre link roadway that will also serve as a north-south freeway.
