The cattle consist of Full Blood Wagyu, Registered Angus and Commercial Angus cross, bred to Full blood Wagyu bulls and Registered Angus bulls. The cow-calf operation utilizes farmland located on the ranch, allowing cattle to free-range graze from irrigated pasture to natural pasture. The ranch was founded in 1904 and incorporated in 1905 as the Riggs Cattle Company, which once included over 6,000 head of cattle that grazed on over 100,000 acres of Riggs family land.
