Angeli Ferrer is an Associate Counsel in BBL. Her practice focuses on succession and family wealth planning, trusts, incapacity planning, applications for estate grants, and administration of estates and trusts. She helps clients by devising and implementing estate plans that take into consideration their wishes and unique situations, while seeking to preserve and transfer their personal or family wealth in an orderly and legally effective manner. She regularly gives advice to executors and trustees with respect to legal issues arising in the course of their administration of estates and trusts. In all her dealings, she brings creativity, sensitivity and understanding in order that her clients’ legal needs are adequately addressed. Angeli also assists clients in their commercial transactions, such as purchase and sale of real estate and businesses, contract review and documentation. This area of law has become a natural extension of her Canadian law practice given her extensive legal background in this field. Prior to being called to the British Columbia bar, Angeli practiced as a corporate and commercial lawyer in the Philippines, specializing in real estate acquisition and development.
