ALGONQUIN SEWING CENTER INC.

Algonquin Sewing Center is a one-stop quilt store in the Ottawa Valley, locally owned with a friendly atmosphere. They offer a wide range of sewing classes including quilting, garment sewing, knitting, and crochet. The store also stocks quilting cotton, quilting & knitting supplies, patterns, and books. The Algonquin Sewing Center has been in existence for over 30 years. The store will be attending the Pembroke Log Cabin Quilters Guild 2025 Quilt Show at Petawawa Civic Center on Saturday May 31, 2025 and Sunday June 1, 2025. The store was founded by Linda Spagnolo, who started the 'Remnant Riot' in her basement, later transitioning to the Algonquin Sewing Center. Cyndi Teather took over in 2009 until her retirement in August 2022. As of August 15th 2022, the Algonquin Sewing Center has moved to Victoria Street in Petawawa.
