The Ahmed Group of Companies (“Ahmed Group”) is a Canadian based family office whose primary objective is to invest in the development and construction of Canadian real estate. Ahmed Group has a long-standing tradition of excellence in real estate development, founded in 1966 in Edmonton, Alberta. The company is a major player in the development of new rental residential housing across Ontario, with a development pipeline valued at over $2 Billion and assets under management of over $100 Million. Ahmed Group's proposed development of a mixed-use, purpose-built rental project of 568 units at 1000 and 1024 Dundas St. E. in Mississauga. They also have other developments proposed such as on Hurontario and Pearl streets in Mississauga, and are also proposing to build senior residences.
